The
popular Apple Day event will return to Home Cottage
Farm, Bangors Road South, Iver Heath on Saturday 18th
October - 11am to 4pm. After last year’s Foot
and Mouth outbreak forced an emergency re-location we
are looking forward to being back among the Orchards.
This
is a great family fun day out with numerous stalls for
local charities, producers and traders from toffee apples
and pumpkins to bric-a-brac and crafts. Lots of children’s
activities and events for all ages to watch & take
part - dog agility, ferret racing & archery; plus
refreshment tents & a BBQ. Entry will be £1
per car or 50p per family of pedestrians.
Last
year nearly 500 cars visited the event, which is again
being held in aid of the St Margarets Church, Iver Heath,
Building Fund. If you are a local charity or business
and would like to participate in the day, take an advert
in the programme or sponsor an event then please contact
us on the details below. We really hope you can join
us and be a part of this charity day so be sure to make
a note in your diary.
